WXII TV has an opening for a self-motivated individual who wants to win each day. We are seeking a photographer with the ability to capture the essence of what’s happening in the field, and then bring it vividly into the homes of our viewers. This member of our team will spend several hours each day editing for newscasts and several hours each day out in the field shooting, editing, and executing live shots for stories.

Photographer/Editor duties include the shooting and editing of News stories. The Photographer/Editor is expected to have a comprehensive knowledge of contemporary lighting techniques and fully understand the use of professional audio equipment commonly used in ENG work. The Photojournalist/Editor is expected to edit all stories in the field and will routinely set and execute live shots alone and often for multiple shows. Must be familiar with Frontline vans and ENG vans.

Looking for photographer to works closely with clients to capture photos of people, places and things through the use of creativity and technical abilities in photographic equipment and photo manipulation software. To ensure that desired results are obtained, photographers have to communicate effectively with clients regarding expectations to meet standards and deadlines of projects. Other duties include recommending creative ideas and solutions to achieve desired results and maintaining a professional image.
