At Cinesite Vancouver, production for the weird and wonderful Addams Family sequel is well under way. As we create this amazing story, we want to start the audition process for the next kooky family members to join our team! We are looking for an Animation TD to join our Animation team.

Animation

With an emphasis on anatomy and form, the Creature Modeler will create three dimensional CG characters to be painted, enveloped and animated by the creature development team. What You’ll Do: Create three-dimensional creatures for the Animator and Technical Director. Employ specific software tools to build the geometric structure of the object and ensure that the model will satisfy the requirements of the production.

Animation

Collaborate to create dynamic 3D elements to enhance our 2D pipeline. Work with a team of Art Directors, Animation Supervisors, and Compositors to create trackers, masking elements, and lighting effects needed to composite 3D elements. Make sure all elements are rendered correctly and delivered to composition. Execute changes and revisions as requested by Art Directors and Animation Directors. Work within our established studio animation and composition pipeline and procedures. Collaborate with respect, humility, inclusion, and open-mindedness.

The ideal candidate will be accomplished in art, development and appraisals. The candidate must have significant experience scheduling and milestone accountability in a wide variety of art disciplines such as: visual development/concept art, 3D character, 3D environments, lighting/shaders, visual effects, and cinematics.

The Line Producer (LP) will provide management and leadership to the specific production in addition to collaborating on other studio wide initiatives. This role will be responsible to act as a project and people manager in establishing the structure of the production, its resource team, budget, timelines and processes within Company standards. The LP will ensure that the quality of services provided meet the standards of Bardel and meet production deadlines. The LP will also ensure a professional and successful relationship with the client or outside partner. This role has ultimate responsibility for the successful completion of the project and maintains a holistic view over all moving parts required for the show.
